Rushing medical supplies to Jamaica after a hurricane
A charity needed our help delivering 16 tonnes of medical aid from Florida to Jamaica following Hurricane Melissa. Commercial flights were unable to operate in the area, so a dedicated charter was required to get the supplies there at short notice. Quickly coordinating our contacts on the ground, we got to work on a solution.

Our charter experts quickly arranged the charter of a Boeing 757 freighter positioned nearby, working with the operator to source permits at short notice. The 15 pallets of cargo were loaded smoothly onto the aircraft with the help of a highloader.
There were a huge number of relief flights touching down in Kingston in the wake of the disaster, with ground handlers and the Jamaican military working together to unload pallets and unpack cargo. Our team on the ground oversaw as the cargo was transferred from the B757 and loaded onto waiting trucks for delivery.
